From his college life in 2008-09, after developing a habit and interest in reading Marathi language stories, poetry collections, novels, autobiographies, travelogues, columns, newspapers, magazines, Diwali issues, etc., Aniket Salunke's journey began by writing reviews of films and books, and by watching serials, films, one-act plays, and plays. As soon as his interest in literature developed, he actively participated in blood donation, tree plantation, food donation, menstruation, etc. and continues to this day. Aniket Salunke, who is based in Pimpri Chinchwad (Pune - Maharashtra), accepted the challenge of how to provide a quality summary of a book in the shortest possible time on the social media YouTube and wrote and directed the episode himself. With his reading experience and passion for writing, the Book Katta channel was created in mid-July 2021. While working in the media field of audio video, at that time, while making videos on books, we shot all the episodes technically to make our videos better than others, compiled them and presented them to the readers. Through that, we also gave many people the opportunity to be anchor, cameraman, sound, production, editing and provided opportunities for ourselves. In order to increase the number of readers and sustain the reading culture, Book Katta is working hand in hand with many Instagram pages that work for reading. While doing this work, we have created our own reader class. Many readers and writers were connected through that medium. In the last phase of the year 2021, Book Katta became active on Instagram. After that, Book Katta participated in many programs as an organizer, co-organizer, media partner in readings, literary conferences, poet conferences. Currently, Aniket has been working as a writer, director, executive producer, and production manager for short films, web series, documentaries, ad films, and songs for the past 6 years. Also, as a social activist, the founder of Book Katta is connecting citizens with readers through this medium. In the future, he wants to do many activities through Book Katta. Soon, he himself will meet us in the role of the author and publisher of a Marathi book. Work on it is currently underway.
